Please note: Due to current public health guidelines, our administrative and audience services offices located on the 8th floor of the Civic Opera Building are currently closed. We are fully accessible by phone and online.

Box Office
During the opera season, the Lyric Opera House Box Office (at the corner of Wacker and Madison) is open for walk-up ticket purchases from noon to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday (noon through the first intermission for evening performances), and noon through the first intermission on Saturdays and Sundays if there is a performance.
Summer box office hours (until Labor Day) are noon to 5 pm, Tuesday through Friday.
Please note our Wacker Street Box Office is now cashless. Credit card purchases only.

Ticket exchanges, trades, and donations
We understand that conflicts can arise. If your schedule changes and you are no longer able to attend a performance, flexibility is yours! You may exchange your tickets for another performance of the same opera or musical, trade into a different opera, or make a tax-deductible donation by returning your tickets to Lyric.
